Madras Moves: The City is Updating Its Transportation System Plan and wants to hear from you on its Draft Final Plan!

Join the City at a family-friendly Open House event at the Central Oregon Community College, 1170 E. Ashwood Road, in Madras on Thursday, January 18, 2017, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. This is the third event in a series of community Open Houses on this project since 2016. If you live, work, go to school, travel in or through Madras, or own a business or property in the area, then the City and Public and Technical Advisory Committee want to hear from you as they work to finalize the “Update” to the Madras Transportation System Plan!

Over the past two years, in cooperation with a Public and Technical Advisory Committee and the community-at-large, the City has been working on updating the Transportation System Plan. The goal of this third and final Open House is to share with the community a draft final plan and seek community input. The City and the Public and Technical Advisory Committee are eager to hear from community members as this plan will help determine how people move in, around, and through Madras.
