Transportation Funding Task Force

The purpose of this task force is to research and analyze potential funding revenues for the transportation infrastructure network within the City of Madras. This committee was put on hold in 2020 at start of COVID, but will be reopening sometime in 2023 at Council's request.

Citizen Involvement

The committee membership consists of a few Council members, the City Administrator, Public Works Director, City Communications, Chamber Director, and citizens who reside within the City of Madras and Jefferson County. In addition, the committee confers with local business owners.

Decision Making

The committee is advisory, and therefore, reviews materials, solicits input and prepares recommendations to the Madras City Council. They do not have decision-making authority.
