Did you know that you can receive notifications about emergencies in our area?

The Frontier Regional Alert Emergency Alert program is a geographical based notification system, that allows local law enforcement to notify subscribers about emergency information in specific areas. Working with dispatch, street addresses are used to select which phone numbers will receive emergency and community notification calls in various situations. The system works for cell phones also as long as they are registered to a home or business address within one of the four user counties. 

When you register you will be able to select the types of notifications you want to receive. Please understand that notifications are not sent out for every situation/incident. This system is utilized for things such as evacuation notifications, amber alerts, or situations that may affect a certain neighborhood or area. You can register to receive notifications for more than one location so you receive notifications when there is an emergency alert at a location such as your work, child’s school, parent’s house, etc.
