Bel Air and Herzberg Heights Sewer Extension

The City of Madras is seeking sealed bids for the Bel Air and Herzberg Heights Sewer Extension Project. The bid proposal (“Bid) shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and marked: Bel Air and Herzberg Heights Sewer Extension Project

Sealed bids will be accepted by Jeffrey Hurd, Public Works Director, at the Madras City Hall, 125 SW “E” Street, Madras, OR 97741, until 2:00 pm, Thursday, April 12, 2018, at which time and place bidding will be closed, and the bids opened and read. 

Plans, specifications, addenda and notifications for this project may be viewed or bid set acquired for fee at the Premier Builders Exchange, 1902 NE 4th Street, Bend, OR  97701 (phone 541-389-0123).  Plans, specifications and addenda may also be viewed, printed or ordered online at http://www.premierbx.com. 

The work includes, but is not limited to, Installation of 8” Sewer Main with Manholes and Services throughout the Bel-Air/Herzberg Heights Subdivision.  Including pavement patching and HMAC Overlay of the Subdivision upon completion.  All work except for the HMAC overlay, shouldering and curb and gutter on 10th Street shall be substantially completed by November 1, 2018.  The HMAC overlay, shouldering and curb and gutter on 10th Street shall be substantially completed by May 15, 2019. 

The project is a public works project subject to the state prevailing wage rates under ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870, the federal prevailing wage rates under the Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq.)
